Terms of Service
Agreement
By creating an account or using Formpost, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Formpost for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
Your account and forms
You are responsible for your account, your forms, the recipient email accounts you configure, and the content collected through your forms. You must protect your account credentials and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
You decide what information your forms collect and why. You must have a lawful basis to collect and use that information, provide any notices required by law, obtain any required permissions, and respond to requests from the people whose information you collect.
Acceptable use
You may use Formpost only for lawful forms and submissions you are authorized to collect. You must not use the service for spam, phishing, fraud, harassment, illegal content, malware, attempts to gain unauthorized access, or activity that disrupts or places an unreasonable burden on Formpost or others.
Prohibited data
Formpost is not designed for highly sensitive or regulated information. You must not use Formpost to collect or transmit:
- payment card numbers, bank account credentials, or other financial authentication data;
- passwords, authentication codes, private keys, or other account secrets;
- government-issued identification numbers or copies of identity documents;
- health, medical, biometric, or genetic information;
- precise financial records, criminal records, or similarly sensitive legal information;
- personal information about children; or
- other special-category or highly sensitive personal information regulated by applicable law.
Processing and delivery
You authorize Formpost and the service providers identified in our Privacy Policy to receive, process, store, monitor, and deliver information as needed to provide and protect the service. This includes sending submission content through SendGrid to the recipient email addresses you configure.
You are responsible for confirming that recipient addresses are correct, authorized, and adequately protected.
Retention and deletion
Submissions verified by Cloudflare Turnstile are permanently deleted 365 days after submission, regardless of plan. Submissions that are not verified are permanently deleted after 30 days. These limits also apply to submissions you delete from your account.
You are responsible for exporting any information you need before it is deleted. Permanently deleted submissions cannot be recovered.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and renew according to the billing period and price shown when you subscribe. You can manage or cancel a subscription using the billing options available in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund amounts already charged unless required by law.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to a form or account when reasonably necessary to address prohibited data, abuse, security threats, legal requirements, non-payment, or violations of these terms. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
You may stop using Formpost and cancel paid subscriptions through the options available in your account. Submission retention and deletion continue to follow the schedule above.
Service availability
Formpost is provided as is and as available. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and you are responsible for maintaining any copies of submission information your activities require.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Formpost changes. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continued use of Formpost after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
